Schooner Virginia

Schooner Virginia is looking for a 2nd and 3rd Mate, an Engineer, ABs and a relief cook, beginning May 3rd 2009.

During the Summer 2009 season Virginia will be participating in the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge and sailing with educational programs for both youth and adults, including celestial navigation training trips to and from Bermuda.

 

Deck positions require appropriate STCW endorsed licensing. Mate applicants should be dedicated, proven leaders and teachers. Applicants for all positions should have a background in tall ship education programs. Additionally, all applicants will be required to have a valid US Passport and to undergo a background check. Pay is competitive, and the schooner Virginia will assist select qualified applicants with licensing and training support.
